Town hall meetings

Town Hall meetings will take place in the same lecture rooms as the oral sessions and will last for one hour. To foster meaningful exchanges, at least 20 minutes of each session must be dedicated to audience discussion.

Please note that session organizers will be required to provide a brief summary of the town hall conclusions after the session for the congress restitution. Further details will be shared in due course.

Presentation requirements

  • If used, slides must be uploaded via the presentation upload between 5 May and at the latest before 27 May.
  • The organizers will conduct technical tests before the presentations.
  • Supported formats: .pdf, .ppt/.pptx, .pps/.ppsx (up to 50 MB).
  • The organizers do not accept pre-recorded oral presentations.

Slide guidelines:

  • Use large, legible fonts (minimum 24pt).
  • Ensure color schemes accommodate color vision deficiencies (check using the Coblis – Color Blindness Simulator).
  • To ensure smooth projection, please embed all images and fonts in your PowerPoint document using the 'Save' function.
    • For images: Make sure they are fully inserted and not linked to external files.
    • For fonts: Go to File > Options > Save, then check the option "Embed fonts in the file" and select "Embed all characters".
  • Credit all images properly.
  • Format slides in 16:9 wide-screen ratio.
  • Use the OOSC graphic if photo permissions are not granted.

The organizer will conduct technical tests before the presentations to ensure smooth delivery.
